A Prayer Life Like David's?

With a Rebel yell he cried more, more, more.

With a Rebel yell he cried more, more, more.

Off on another tangent, in the last couple of days contemplating dominions, national holidays, nations, powers, and authorities. I thought I’d should share the tangent.

And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. Revelation 12:3

 - Six rebels with the authority or sway of ten who each wore a crown, each ruling a nation they had been given authority over. Each sat on a throne and they in turn covertly gave their allegiance to Lucifer, the Devil, the Satan, the great red dragon, many alias’, but one definite elohim in particular.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”  Mathew 4: 8-9

 - The Tower of Babel event.

Mankind's rebellion at Babel. GOD disinherited the nations and started afresh with Abram and Sarai.

Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you. When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. Deuteronomy 32: 7-8

 - GOD is never in the dark, surprised, or outflanked, even by his elohim divine council.

A Psalm of Asaph. God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgement: “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah Psalm 82: 1-2

I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.” Psalm 82:  6-7

Sheol beneath is stirred up to meet you when you come; it rouses the shades to greet you, all who were leaders of the earth; it raises from their thrones all who were kings of the nations. Isaiah 14:9

“As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. Daniel 7:9

Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Matthew 19:28

he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate; Luke 1:52

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.  Revelation 4:4

- The idiom proves true 'absolute power corrupts absolutely. ' the only ones who are insulated from this is those of a humble and contrite spirit.

All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the LORD. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.  Isaiah 66:2

The Lord lifts up the humble; he casts the wicked to the ground. Psalm 147:6
