SON OF MAN

Psalm 8

1 To the choirmaster: according to The Gittith. A Psalm of David.
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants,
you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him?
5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,
7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Thoughts -

- David starts by singing GOD's name is magestic in all the earth, and he has set his glory above the heavens. Ephesians 1:20-21 Sounds like Jesus to me.

- Verse 2 outta the mouth of babes. David sung it (inspired by the Holy Spirit) Jesus quoted it, in Matthew 21:16. GOD uses it to shut the mouths of chief priests, scribes, the Devil, his angels and demons. 

- You want to shut Satan up and leave him and his buddies speechless? Have a little child sing "Jesus loves me this I know!"

- Verses 4-6 Jesus seemed to love using the term "son of Man" when referring to himself, I wonder why? 🤔

Just to name a few. (There's alot more)
"the son of man that you care for him..."

- Verses 6 to 9 GOD has given the second Adam, son of man, the dominion that was originally given to the first Adam and the woman, but now to Christ and his bride the Church.

-Get ready the Edenic restart is coming soon and it will leave that old Devil and his angels permanently speechless.

My prayer, that we too will continually praise his name for all he's done, doing, and will do. Thank you son of Man!
