The Worship is really in-Tents
Psalm 61
1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer;
2 from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I,
3 for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.
4 Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah
5 For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6 Prolong the life of the king; may his years endure to all generations!
7 May he be enthroned forever before God; appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him!
8 So will I ever sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day.
Psalm 61 thoughts:
Verse 4 - the intent
Your Tent - ōhel
Exodus 33:7 — Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the LORD would go out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp.
The Tent of meeting - ōhel môʿēḏ
2 Corinthians 5:1 — For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Abba Father, Jesus, and You, together in one tent, was that the in-tent from the beginning?
2 Samuel 7:16 — And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me. Your throne shall be established forever.’”
Verse six - He "finished" it!
Ephesians 1:20-21
that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Verse seven - He's got it covered
Hebrews 12:2 — looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Versr eight - David has joined the choir
Revelation 7:15 — “Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.
My prayer, Father GOD thank you for your word, thank you for Jesus, thank you that your word is established in the heavens forever and ever Amen.
Tell David, we can't to sing praises with him and all the saints.
