Authority Great responsibility Adam and the Woman were given great authority over everything concerning planet earth, under GOD. Lucifer was given great authority; he was the anointed covering (guardian) Cherub under GOD's authority. In the old testament the people who received anointing were usually the High Priests, Kings and Prophets. These were to be the leaders for those who would follow them and their example. Is it not right that those of high authority should be proven, that they are worthy of such a great responsibility?
